Maputo, Mozambique

The Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA) was incorporated on April 5, 1996, as a result of the conversion of the Association Working Committee (CTA) designed to meet the challenges of the introduction of the market economy system.

The Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA) is the official partner of dialogue with the government, in the private sector representation and working towards a better business environment in Mozambique, through the promotion of economic and regulatory reforms.

The CTA currently comprises 157 members between sectoral federations, Trades Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations and is represented throughout the country and economic sectors. CTA is a non-governmental economic organization and, as a representative of the Mozambican private sector, one of its tasks is to assist companies, identify and share business opportunities and promote financing alternatives in order to stimulate investment and promote local content .
